Dearest Mother, Dad, & Velma;
I was reading a magazine while on alert this afternoon and I ran across an article about Bob Fry. I thought you might like it. You probably have seen it, if not, you could let Thelma give it to his folks. I think it is a very good article.
I am also enclosing a piece of metal off of a Jap zero. I cut it out of the red sun, or roundel as it is called. That is why it is red. Notice how strong and how light it is. Tell me how Dad reacts to it.
Not much doing today and I rested. (which I do lots of)
