Dearest Mother and Dad,
Boy, Oh boy, did I get good service from you today! Yep, I got a letter from you in nine days. I think I also have all your old ones because I have received about forty in the last two weeks. I guess they came by boat. That is why I like V-mail better. But write a few regular air mails so I get clippings. I like that very much too. (Mom, you don’t use all the letter space, unfold it).
I visited the branch Dorothy knew about as I was there on my seven day leave. It is a wonderful place. Reminds me very much of Miami, Florida. But I don’t live there. I live quite a distance from there. Reminded me of the train ride to El Paso.
Mary wrote today. Wish I could share you her letter. I can’t figure her out.
