Dearest Mother and Dad,
I guess I am about the laziest person that ever existed. Really, I haven’t done anything in so long. I bet I won’t know how when we start.
There is a very nice story in the January issue of Reader’s Digest that I hope you read. It should prove very interesting to you. I hope you read it.
I am getting where I sleep just about the whole day and night now. The town here is terrible. Nothing but shows and they are very old. And believe it or not, but the expensive seats are in the balcony. Everything here is backward too. Sure will be glad when we move.
Barbara has written that she wrote you and that you answered. She didn’t say what you talked about. Mary has written only twice. Guess she is too busy with her new job. I am in top shape so don’t worry.
