Dear Mom & Dad,
I got four letters from you today and they were quite old, but they were the missing links. They told all about Chas. Ray and Wayne, of which gave me more details. It was certainly too bad it all happened.
I am still getting along fine but I can’t say too much for Australia. I dislike it more every day. I can’t see how a country can be so backward and be satisfied. But they are going “all out” for the war. Also they have had to sacrifice so much.
We are still doing nothing but that is due to be changed soon. I think. Here’s hoping. I think we have quite a surprise in store for the little yellow boys.
I will write you tomorrow and try to make it more interesting. Please write soon and how about sending the paper.
