Dearest Mother and Dad,
Hello, and how are you today? I hope everything at home is in fine shape. I know I’ll be very happy when I get to find out in person.
We are rather busy at the moment but we are having fun, too. This New Mexico weather is rather annoying but, anyway everything stays green. My new job with the squadron keeps me up all night once a week, but it is very interesting and exciting at times.
I haven’t started getting the paper yet. I have had one since I have been here. Don’t know why the delay. Wish I could tell you my experiences yesterday but I can’t yet. Lots of fun and hair-raising. Guess I’ll be here till all this business is over, but everything looks better for the allies. Don’t worry!
