Dearest Mother and Dad,
I didn’t write the past two days because we have been fairly busy. Everything is under control and we are all doing O.K. This life over here gets rather boring at times. We have more time off now and we have more time to rest, and believe me, it takes a lot of rest over here. We are usually in bed by 8:30 and no one cares to stay up later. Our food has been terrible lately and everyone is in a bad humor because of it.
I have a new airplane and I named it the same name. It seems to be a very good ship. We still have our tails C E N S O R E D…ing. So far it hasn’t been so bad as you have probably read. I might tell you also that Barbara and I are engaged. That way I can be sure. I haven’t told Mary yet but I am going to wait a while. What do you think about Barbara?
