Dearest Mother and Dad,
I received eight letters tonight, which was a real haul for me. I got one from Joe Bowen with three pictures of their baby. I really enjoyed getting them. Their baby is very cute. Surely wish I were there so I could talk to them.
We had another good day today. No one hurt but it costs the Nips quite a bit. Again I was not in on it. My day off. I wonder if I’ll ever get a Nip. Boy I hope so. I would like to get about three all at once.
