Dearest Mother & Dad,
Today has been very dull and uninteresting. We had the whole day off with nothing to do. Tomorrow should prove very interesting, at least we hope so.
I got four letters today and I really enjoyed them. Your latest is Feb. 21. I was very sorry to hear about Grandma. I surely hope she lasts til I get back. If you can, tell her I asked about her.
Mom, are you getting out enough? I want you and Dad to go the the show and get out with other people. It will do you good and help the time pass much quicker.
Mom, I must stop now and get ready for tomorrow. Tell Thelma and Kat I’ll write again soon. Velma keep on writing and tell me all the news. By the way, Dad, you write very interesting so please write more often.
