Dearest Mother & Dad,
I guess you have already noticed my new APO 321! I haven’t written the last few days for we have been as busy getting everything from there to here. We are going to have a pretty good camp if it ever dries up where we can see what it looks like. I have never seen rain or mud like this before. Lytle and I got stuck in a Jeep last nite while going to the creek to get a bath, & getting stuck in a Jeep is something! We are getting along fine so far even tho we can and again hear the Nips snore. We are all sweating out the time to go home and believe me we can hardly wait. Be sure and keep your fingers crossed so I can get home before too long. I can imagine you will be ready to see me too. I am getting along fine so don’t worry.
Love,
Son
