Dear Thelma & Walt,
Here I am again finally after getting settled to my new home(?)! Be sure and notice my new APO 321. We haven’t received any mail now for several days and we certainly do feel badly over it. Maybe we will get some tomorrow.
How is everything at home? Getting along fine? I can hardly wait until I get back and get home and get my feet under our own table once again. Boy, that will be the day! I have eaten bully beef now for so darn long that anything else is a real treat. We have more rain and mud that I have ever seen in my life. It makes heavy rains back home seem like dew. And that’s no kidding.
Thelma, please write as often as you can for it surely helps the morale.
